Wonderful Wednesdays #26

Red Hot Origin Card Art

Thanks to hitting the $2500/month Milestone Goal. I've been posting up Digital Kickstarter Rewards for $5+ Patrons to enjoy. And here's your latest reward!

With lineart by Gabriel Mayorga and colors by Alex Sollazzo, this shows one of the first times Kyle used his powers to help people. If those towers in the background are what I think they are, it was a probably a very good thing he was there!

You can download a digital wallpaper for your computer here:

Please let me know what you think in the comments. More soon!

What happens if you paste the link directly into the browser bar of Firefox? http://downloads.yaoi911.com/AWM_Comics_TYP-ETE-Origins-Card-RED-HOT_1600x1200.jpg What happens if you try it with a different browser, like Chrome? Hopefully, we can figure out what the culprit is here...

Alex Woolfson

Alex, I use AOL and Firefox. But i went into the Patron site directly from Firefox, not using AOL. I tried it again and got the same result. Weird.

Hey Peter, Hmm. That's strange. The link is working fine for me. And I just had someone else test it and it's working fine for them. Did you try it on this page using a web browser or just in your email program? (Sometimes things can get mangled in emails.) What web browser are you using?

Alex Woolfson

When I try to open the link I get this message: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access Denied</Message><RequestId>25F6822EEE2CE86F</RequestId><HostId>SH+UO9s5/FZrvzQJTIFzice1Ej/N4n0SjmxeaHqdybfQUgY8SQ1khbuiZ1q5Zp57NDs7I6neglw=</HostId></Error>

I agree, Michael. Alex does a great job with Gabriel's work -- they make a very good team. :)

Alex Woolfson

I'm not sure Gabriel does sequential art, Chris, but that's an interesting thought. :)

Alex Woolfson

You're very welcome, Chris! I'm really glad you like this! :)

This is awesome. For some reason Kyle's pose is making my mind play "I believe I can fly" in the background. That, or some dramatic opera piece. Kyle would make a great conductor. I love the crispness of the linework and the bold colouring, it really makes the piece stand out, in my opinion.

Michael

This is really nice. I wouldn't mind seeing a bonus comic or interlude with this team in the future.

Chris Tsuda

Their work is always so fantastically appealing and dynamically active. This image is a real treat. Thank Alex to both you and the artists for making this happen!
