Thank you, Chris. Trying to strike that balance with Cory -- where he was in a very tough spot, but not a victim or defeated, but in fact, someone with inner strength -- was important to me. Glad to hear you're rooting for him. :)

2015-12-11 08:22:32 +0000 UTCNot unlike Kanya's, but in such a dear and appealing way, Cory's expressions on these pages are just A+++. They communicate so much about who he is and what he's feeling. It's not easy to have a character share his victimization, desperation and foolishness and still have him seem decent, strong and a guy who just needs a break in life. And which of us doesn't? It's makes Cory a very wonderful everyman super character. How can we not root for him? Nowwwww, I wonder how we can get him together with Kanya so they can go off and do something heroic (that incidentally nets them some cash). :D Thanks Alex and Adam.
