Changes to how Patreon reports overall pledges

Hey y'all!

It's the 10th and I've been told payments have cleared, so I'm going to be sending out November's Full Monty art to last month's $5+ backers and the hi-res art to last month's $10+ backers later tonight (which I think you're really going to like!). :) But Patreon has recently made a change to how they are displaying pledges on each project's home page, and when you come to my page to comment, I don't want you to be surprised by it.

Up until today, the total dollar amount of pledges that Patreon has been showing has not accounted for Patreon and credit card fees, pledges made by "bots" (a surprisingly large number, who don't wind up paying anything), and declined pledges.  A lot of creators, including myself, didn't like that, since it made it seem like we were receiving a lot more money than we actually were.

Patreon has responded to our request by changing the dollar amount on our home page to something that is much, much closer to what we actually earn each month from the pledges. So, please don't be alarmed if the number suddenly seems to have "dropped"—there hasn't been a mass exodus of Patrons (y'all have been awesome and super-consistent!), this is actually the real amount that I've been receiving.

So, it's a good thing overall. One thing it has done, though, is post back up a bunch of unlocked Milestone Goals, many of which I've already fulfilled. I'm going to be exhibiting at GaymerX3 in San Jose this weekend, but once I get back, I'll be working with the folks at Patreon to get that cleaned up, so that the only stretch goals that are visible are ones that haven't been unlocked yet.

Anyway, I hope that's clear. Your support has been amazing and life changing for me. As I've said a few times, last December, before I launched this Patreon, I thought I would have to stop making comics. Now, thanks to you, this is how I make my living. I am very grateful to each and every one of you.
