i think sometimes this term scares people away from mutually sharing their experiences, you know? it seems like it can be used in kind of a cruel way against people who are just trying to connect? it's good to have a more solid definition, like the one you are giving. i think it's great to talk about things with people but it can't be one-sided, which i guess is what makes it trauma-dumping.
