Yeah, I will do that!! I thought I saw Roxy once, but she looked different. My mind just might be playing tricks on me. It does that

Oops not sure my link works. But if you go to her FB page and search for "Roxy" in the search option, the posts should come up.

@katimorton. Thank you for sharing these mental health tips and advice I'm struggling right now 🙏🏻❤

Absolutely! Breathing exercises can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system (the “rest and digest” system) and bring the body back to a more relaxed state. There are many exercises you can try. Here are a few more to add to the one Kati mentioned: Box Breathing: 1- Inhale for 4 seconds. 2- Hold the breath for 4 seconds. 3- Exhale for 4 seconds. 4- Hold the breath for 4 seconds. This pattern helps regulate your breathing and can help bring focus back to the present moment. Deep Belly Breathing: 1- Breathe deeply into your diaphragm (stomach area) rather than shallow chest breathing. 2- Inhale slowly through your nose, allowing your belly to rise. 3- Exhale slowly through your mouth. This type of breathing signals to your body that it's okay to relax and helps to ground you. 4-7-8 Breathing: 1- Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds. 2- Hold your breath for 7 seconds. 3-Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 seconds. This technique can reduce anxiety and calm the nervous system. Alternate Nostril Breathing: 1- Close your right nostril and inhale deeply through the left nostril. 2- Close the left nostril, and exhale slowly through the right nostril. 3- Continue alternating sides. This technique is known for calming the mind and balancing the nervous system. If you have trouble counting while you breathe, I know the Finch app (gamified to-do list and self-care app where you get gems for completing your tasks & other stuff and you can use these gems to buy clothes and furniture for a little bird) has a "breathe" option (home screen, upper right lightning bolt button) and you can follow an animated graphic for multiple types of breathing techniques, and it tells you what they're for.
