Artist Challenge: Inkstand Studios vs. Blakely Inberg

Howdy y'all, 

So in October, I asked for your help  in finding the best artists for future Patreon pin-ups.  You voted on two different pin-ups of The Young Protectors characters by two different artists, and let me know what you thought. Then we did it again with two new artists—Davi Comodo and RBDude—in December.

Well, now it's time to let you know what the results of those December votes were, and to share some more cool, new The Young Protectors artwork with you!

Voting Results

So, to remind you, there were two different pin-ups you got to download : a sweet Kyle and The Annihilator pairing pin-up by Davi Comodo, and a very NSFW pin-up of Kyle by RBDude. And then you got to vote on them with a 5 star scale (with 1 star being "meh" and 5 stars being "totally awesome!"). 

Well, the votes are now in!

Y'all definitely liked Davi Comodo's pairing pin-up art and gave it an average of 3.61 stars. Not bad!

But y'all liked RBDude's NSFW Kyle pin-up just a smidge more , giving it an average of 3.97 stars. (In fact, over 34.69% of you gave it a full 5 stars with an exact equal percentage - yes, 34.69% -  giving it 4 stars!) 

Thank you so much for your voting. That's super-helpful to me, it's really fun to find out what you think, and I will keep it in mind when making a decision about who next to hire for a Patreon pin-up!

Inkstand Studios

Inkstand Studios is a team that manages many illustrators for who work in comics, manga, cartoon and concept art for games. Henrique from Inkstand Studios is a writer and comic penciler from Brazil and he wanted to create a Platinum Priestess pin-up for us. 

He did the linework and our own Alex Sollazzo applied his amazing colors to Henrique's work.

Blakely Inberg

Blakely Inberg is a sequential artist and illustrator who loves LGBT comics, and loves to make them too! If they aren't busy working on thumbnails, they're online shopping to add to their ever-growing collection of a certain patriotic buff guy.

They asked to work on a Spooky Jones pin-up and here's what they came up with. Check it out!

High-res Files

Of course, on February 10th, along with the Flashback Friday pin-up , both of these images will be sent out to $10+ Patrons as high-res files with over double the resolution.  So, if you really love one of these pin-ups and want to own it in high-res, there's still time to make that happen.  :)
