Henrique from Inkstand Studios has been doing an amazing job creating linework for pin-ups of The Young Protectors characters. In June, you got to see his take on our favorite "Silver Fox," The Annihilator.
This time around, I asked him to do a sweet & romantic pairing pin-up of Kyle & Spooky Jones. Then Alex Sollazzo applied his awesome colors to it and the result is very cool.
Henrique definitely seems to like creating our heroes with strong jaws—so it's definitely a different take on our boys for me. But that monster (and especially the first responder with the flashlight) is a hoot! (And there are certainly a few other... pleasant features to look at. :) )

But what I mostly love, is that in that moment, surrounded by smoke, dead monsters, falling buildings, firefighters, etc., they only have eyes for each other. This might be my favorite drawing to date! Thanks, Alex
