Got it. Well maybe in time they will lower them a bit... Patreon is still new. Maybe they had to take a bunch of loans to lunch it, who knows...

2014-05-03 18:29:54 +0000 UTCCC fees are an individual thing (Currency, Credit Card Company, Source and Target Country). Patreon collects once for all projects you support, then splits the fee. According to their own faq its arround 4% for 20$ and Up to 35% for 1$ pledges. Sadly, Patreon is not that transparent if it comes to patreon fees. But 10% is quite a lot, even if you keep editorially costs in mind. Pretty sure they make a decent amount of money.

2014-05-03 17:34:20 +0000 UTCCC stands for Credit Card. Since that's our only mode of payment to an adult patreon page. We pay about the same rate in the restaurant business but it varies with how many transaction there was.

2014-05-03 17:23:51 +0000 UTCHm... So just out of curiosity, what is "CC" fees exactly? I mean "Pateron Fees" are the money they need to pay to sustain the site and make it profitable I suppose. But what is "CC"? It's just I saw some pages on patreon that have like $7000+ in pledges... Since Patreon takes about 10% it means ...$700$. That's a lot. I'm not complaining though, just wondering... Patreon is still the best thing that happened to me since "HentaiUnited".
