New feature! You can now BOOKMARK my comic pages

Howdy everyone!

After the month-long break we took this Spring, I'm beginning to settle back into my routine at last. (Which currently involves me writing something new and exciting for y'all for 6 hours a day.) (There are gay wizards! It'll be a while before it's released, but I'm really pleased with how it's coming along!)

I'm also sorting through all my photos from what I was up to for all of May—which just happened to be my honeymoon!—and I'm looking forward to sharing the fun details with all of you (my favorite people!) in an upcoming post here.

But for now, it's my pleasure to officially announce a new feature on my webcomic site! You can finally

Bookmark Comic Pages!

For folks who are all caught up with The Young Protectors and just reading the new page updates, this might not be too exciting. But for new readers and those who like to binge through/re-read the story arcs, it's been my most-requested feature.

First of all, here's the TLDR instructions to bookmark a comic page

1) Make sure you're logged into my webcomics site (that is, youngprotectors.com

If you're a Patron, you should use your Patreon credentials to Log In With Patreon

2) Click the Bookmark link under any of my webcomic pages on that site

Second, here's the TLDR to find your bookmarked pages

1) Make sure you're logged into my webcomics site (that is, youngprotectors.com).

If you're a Patron, you should use your Patreon credentials to Log In With Patreon.

2) Find your bookmarks in the right sidebar under any webcomic page on that site

Pretty simple, huh?

Want to know more detail?

Here's the full step-by-step with pictures!

Under every comic page, in the navigation bar, you will now find a "Bookmark" link:

If you click that link and you are not logged in, you'll be prompted to log into my site.

(Or, if you don't have an account yet, you can click Register.)

There's a chance that due to CAPTCHA reasons, you might be sent to the main login page if you use that form. If that happens, it will look like the next picture.

(You can log in/register an account as normal on this page or, even better, if you're my Patron, use your Patreon credentials to Log In With Patreon so you can access my Patreon-exclusive content.)

IMPORTANT: Remember that my webcomic site is completely separate from Patreon! Just because you are logged in here doesn't mean you are logged into my webcomic site (or even have an account on my webcomics site!)

You can tell you're logged in to my webcomics site because your username will be in a black bar at the top right of the page.

Once you are logged in, you can just click that Bookmark link under the comic page you want to save for later.

When you do that, it will change from "Bookmark" to "Bookmarked".

And then you'll be able to find any bookmarks you've added in the right sidebar under the comic page.

(You might need to refresh the page to get it to show.)

And that's it!

It's actually super easy to do. (And even easier if you're already logged in.)

Finding Bookmarks On Mobile

The instructions for bookmarking pages are the same if you're using a mobile device. Just click Bookmark link in the navigation bar at the bottom of the comics page.

But you might find it difficult to see your saved Bookmarked Pages list if the screen on your device is small, since that list tends to get shoved down to the bottom, underneath the Comments.

To help with that, I added a direct link to it in the mobile menu of my webcomics site.

You can access the mobile menu by clicking the hamburger menu in the upper left of my site.

Then you just click the My Bookmarked Pages link in the mobile menu.

That's it!

Honestly, the picture step-by-step is a kind of overkill. The TLDR at the top is really all you need to know.

But I've gotten enough tech support requests from readers about stuff, that I know it's best to be crystal clear.

So, hopefully this makes sense. (Let me know if you still have questions!)

Please give it a try and let me know what you think!

It took a fair amount of effort to get this to work, and I tried to set it up in a useful way.

So please give it a try and let me know what you think!

Thank you so much for your support!

I really hope y'all like this.

Thank you so much for your incredible support. It really does mean the world to me. I couldn't continue making these comics without you.

Y'all rock! :D

More soon!

Alex
