Of course today is mostly about the tasty food and good company, but I wanted to reach out and also let you know how grateful I am to each and every one of you. My patrons. The awesome members of the Woolfpack.
I know I've said this before, but it really is true that I couldn't make these comics without you. Your continued support enables me to pay for our awesome artists, and work on these stories full time. In addition, the good vibes you send me in the comments (and the live streams!) help me more than you could ever know.
There wouldn't be any Young Protectors stories without you. And there's not a single day that I don't think about that.
Just as important, that you continue to support me, month after month, enables me to plan for even more high-quality comics with gay heroes the future—like Fallen! In the recent poll, over 97% of you let me know that you really enjoyed Gabriel Mayorga's art, and your response in the comments (and especially in direct messages) have let me know that you really would like to see more of Cory's story. A lot more. And I've heard you loud and clear!
Since I got your feedback, I’ve been hard at work finishing the script for the entire first chapter of Fallen, and I honestly think it's one of the most fun things I've ever written. There is romance, action, and lots and lots of humor. I'm literally laughing out loud on every page as I review it. It feels like I'm going back to my roots about what got me into wanting to create comics in the first place. And that feels like a real gift to me.
I simply can't wait to share the next pages of Cory and the Shepherd's story with you. I'm not sure when that will happen, because I currently can't afford to post two comics at the same time, but I know I will find a way sometime in 2020. Hopefully early in 2020. It's your support that gives me the time to work on a side story like this, while still posting two pages a week of our main story. It's you.
You are truly the real superheroes of these comics. Today, you are what I'm grateful for. And I hope that you are spending this day with great food and people you love.
