Thank you, Bill. :)

Alex Woolfson

I may blush figuratively speaking. I do thank you however and I hope you continue your battle for a long time to come noble warrior!

Not at all Alex. Differing view points make the world a less dull place.

Hey Bill, I definitely hear you. The restrictions around the pandemic are very frustrating for lots of reasons. And ultimately, we need to make our own decisions when it comes to keeping ourselves and those around us safe. For what it's worth, I would encourage you not to compare this to the virus scares in recent decades. This isn't like that. This is the worst pandemic our world has experienced in 100 years. That's not media hype, that's cold hard numbers. It took 2 years for the 1918 Flu to kill 500,000 citizens in the U.S. We're already at 140,000 deaths in the U.S. (that we know about), and our technology and healthcare (and knowledge of epidemiology) is a lot more kick-ass now than it was then. How many Americans died of bird flu, swine flu, mad cow? Not many. This is different. For whatever reason, this issue has become politicized in the U.S. which seems to be why things are getting worse here, while in almost all the other rich nations they are moving towards being able to open back up again. In my opinion, until we start to trust our doctors more than we trust news pundits, things are just going to keep getting worse. That's my rant, anyway. ;) Regardless, I understand that there is likely to be nothing I can say that will change your mind about this. That's how we Americans can be about this stuff. And I certainly understand the frustration. But just know that even though you are comfortable with taking on the risk of catching this respiratory infection, that I really care about you, and that even without the COPD (which my mother also has), I really don't want you to get this. Stay safe, my friend. You're one of the good ones. :)

Alex Woolfson

Apologies for the rant.

william clapie

Indeed. You could meet this crusty old fart. I would enjoy that. Now, about the money. Uh, lottery anyone? I do hope this world gets back to the "other" normal soon. The "new" normal is driving me nuts. I am an "at risk" person with my medical issues and I fear COVID not at all. I am more in fear of a sneezing coughing child as the mysterious "UNKNOWN" that could put me down with my COPD and MS. The rest is just Big Brother and his strong arm in my opinion. Over 300 million folks. Even if we hit 200,000 cases that is still a blip on the population map. Deaths? Even less so. I do not belittle the losses, I am a minister and pray that they rest in comfort. I do however detest the strong arm of our government manifesting as "panic and control" through the media. Remember all the food poisonings? How about pet stores pulling rats because of one death from rat bite fever? I have been hospitalized for that myself. Hell of a week in the hospital too. I am still here and still need rats for my snake. One pet store got sued from a death over the fever. Guess what cupcakes, life happens. Then we all suffer. Remember bird flu? Swine flue? Bad cow (IE: mad cow disease) or any of the other myriad panics and deaths of the last 10 decades? How many required lockdowns? How about Aids or HIV? Sorry, rant over. I apologize Alex. Feel free to delete all of this.

Right before we went to colors, Adam noticed a continuity error with what side Flyboy was holding Amanda, so he needed to reverse it. That's why there's the change. It would be nice to meet you at a Con as well. Hopefully we'll be back to being able to do that sometime soon!

Alex Woolfson

Are the images mirrored here or just transposed? I still think the thumbs could be their own book as well as a novel from your writings. Would love to meet you at a "con". sigh, wishes and fishes. Eh?
