V0.8 Update and Changes

I agree... unless you announced a release date. I think most people are fine with it taking the time it needs, so long as it isn't extreme. But there are some who will obviously get annoyed at being a supporter, seeing a date, and having the date be missed. It's best to just provide constant updates and how you're doing and what you're working on. That way we, as the supporters, can read and see that our support is being put to good use. Communication is very important to supporters.

Don't stress it bud. We know it's a lot of work. No need to stress yourself out on release dates. Just give updates like you mentioned and all will be well. A week or two is nothing. Stop stressing and we support you man. Thanks for all you do. I'm excited to play the next update.

It's all good. The quality of the game speaks for itself. If I have to wait an extra week or 2 for the update its not the end of the world. I'd rather wait for something polished like the games been so far than to have rushed lackluster updates :)
