2024-06-04 00:25:22 +0000 UTCWell, that was cute; I've never seen that before. I usually don't like horror comics, but this was funny; you need to watch Young Frankenstein. It's one of my favorites, but you need to watch the original 1931 Frankenstein and the 1935 Bride of Frankenstein first.

2023-01-17 00:57:20 +0000 UTCThe next time you feel you need a palate cleanser, I'd recommend "The Cabin in the Woods". But, before you see that movie, you should still get some more of the modern classics under your belt. "The Evil Dead" was a start, but you need to chew up a good mouthful of things like Texas Chainsaw, "Hellraiser", an assortment of the classic slashers, maybe some Japanese horror, etc) to get the full effect. Oh, and watching the Americanized versions of the Japanese ones, like "The Grudge" and "The Ring" instead of "Ju-on" and "Ringu" doesn't count. Still good to watch, but not really relevant to the above. By the way, for those in the know, don't come at me about the names I used for the Japanese versions. Helps distinguish, and more information is just going to complicate things.
