2023-02-08 00:44:13 +0000 UTCIf you *DO* decide to watch Dawn of the Dead, watch the 2004 version. There is some sentimental love for the 1978 version, but honestly, the ‘78 version is pretty bad. And not “funny-bad”, not “so-bad-it’s-good”…just bad. The 2004 version on the other hand has one of the best opening sequences to a film in years, set to “When The Man Comes Around” by Johnny Cash. How can you possibly go wrong?

2023-02-07 19:32:43 +0000 UTCIt’s not really a sequel and not really a continuation of the story but I really hope you watch RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (1985) at some point. The inter-related lines of zombie movies is a bloody tale but this particular bit of insanity is right up your alley.

2023-02-07 18:25:45 +0000 UTCYou definitely should do the sequels Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead plus the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead at some point down the road. They're all classics of both the horror and zombie genre. Just really good movies all around.
