I don't think I've ever watched your uncut reaction to this. What better way to spend a Sunday? I'm sure you are right that Paul Sheldon wouldn't have gone over the side that easy with that snow bank being there. But the road hadn't been plowed yet at the time, so there wouldn't have been a snowbank, and if there were, it wouldn't have been that high. This is a Great Movie, and this was a Great Reaction, as always.

2024-05-26 17:47:41 +0000 UTCI've read most of Stephen King's books and Misery was the one I read the fastest. As the saying goes, I couldn't put it down. The biggest difference in the movie and the book, was the "hobbling" part. In the book, she didn't BREAK his feet, she chopped them off w/ an axe, then cauterized them w/ a blow torch. Sounds a tad painful. Great reaction, once again. You're the best.🙂

I knew you'd love Buster and Virginia - like, don't get me wrong, the whole psychodrama between Annie and Paul is already *more* than enough story to deal with, but then we also get this adorable little country Sherlock and Watson duo. They're both so snarky and yet such genuinely lovely people and I just love 'em. :3 Also Kathy Bates is so intimidating as Annie and I don't think I've seen anyone act being in pain as authentically since I saw James Caan in this. Oof. Legends!
