The Woman in Black: 1989 or 2012?

I googled The Woman in Black and saw that there are two! Which one should I watch?

But she needs to see a few other scary movies to toughen her up so that scene near the end won't put her in a coma.

I've seen them both, I was traumatized by both. Plenty of I-want-my-mommy moments from either.

Jeff

I have seen both! I have even seen the play! I think your reaction to the 2012 version would be funnier and it is all about me. I have totally let this Patreon thing go to my head just so you know. The TV movie is more of a slow burn, though excellent.

Hmm… 1989 UK made-for-tv spook story or same story updated with Harry Potter? I seriously think both sound good.

The 2012 would be decent because it's pretty solid. However, it's a Hammer Horror movie and I think you should actually try one of the famous classic Hammer movies. I'd recommend watching either like The Curse of Frankenstein or The Horror of Dracula as your first Hammer Horror movie. Both are classic, atmospheric, gothic horror at it's finest and both are good examples of why Hammer Horror movies are important to the history of horror.

The old school one cus it's impossible to be scared of anything with Harry Potter in the movie

I didn’t even know there was a 1989 version. I’ve never been so ashamed of myself.

Josh Link

I haven't seen either, but after a quick scan of reviews the 1989 version seems like a possible gem. !!

ooklafuge

Definitely the 1989 one first

Jeb Manning

Well shit I didn’t even know that
