This is such a wonderful reaction! I've loved this movie (and book) since childhood and may have chosen my last name to reflect it. The acting and writing are *chef's kiss*. I do feel the need to (and this is so weird to say) defend Chris (HEAR ME OUT) in that scene with her in the car where we first meet Billy (John Travolta). He was drinking while driving with her as his helpless passenger in the car - he spilled beer all over her - he kept lunging at her after she had revoked her consent (yes, maybe she was being manipulative, but no still means no) and he hit her across the face twice. They were definitely both toxic, and while I think overall Chris was worse, in that moment, I believe Billy was worse.

I saw this movie when I was in 3rd grade, and I will never forget the end. The hand from the grave was my first ever jump scare and to this day I still can't watch it without quietly bracing while keeping an exterior façade of cool masking "AHHHHH!" I hope some people on here are going to get you to watch American Werewolf in London soon.

Honestly what a douche but probably the best movie slap if all time. Nancy Allen took it like a champ, much respect
