Oh no stay here, I'll take care of burying him for you - Oh ok, thanks - (proceeds to bury the corpse in regular cemetery) - (later) Hey, how come he hasn't come back yet? - Oh well... sometimes it just doesn't take, whaddya gonna do?

They're not the scariest of his movies, but I love them both; that preacher at The Funeral was Stephen King. He loves making a cameo appearance in all his movies. When Gage gets killed, it has to be one of the best primal screams I've heard from a man in horror.

I just watched Mad Heidi which is a gory but comedic send up to old 70's Grindhouse movies as if it were a Swiss made movie though everyone is clearly American and anything sounding Swiss must be accidental. It has nearly every form of Grindhouse in it. My most favorite pick is Avenged/Savaged. Which ever is the easier version to get. I think I'm going to have to actually buy Avenged and send it cause nothing more messed up then a tug of war with the small intestines. I am huge into female revenge movies and Avenged is what the Crow should have been. Absolutely ruthless. I also think a movie like Let the Right One In would be an excellent choice or I Spit On Your Grave. Or something with teeth...except maybe for the movie Teeth. There's just so much good horror and movies like the Blob just isn't one of them. If you want to see a good take on the Blob then watch Creepshow. Cause as Kat says, what can go wrong with Stephen King?

2023-06-29 19:12:47 +0000 UTCThis is the one and only horror movie I chose to never watch. I was reading the book and got nearly a quarter in when I realized where it was going. Or at least the trucks and the baby and couldn't deal. I've got a thing about animals and children dying so I closed and put away my first unread King book. Because the book was so much I just stayed away.
