Mother Firefly is Karen Black, who has had a long Hollywood career. She was in one of the best of the 70's made-for-TV horrors: Trilogy of Terror. Chris Hardwick is a comedian/actor, who hosted The Talking Dead, the talk show format show after Walking Dead. Harrison Young (the girl's father) is old James Ryan in Saving Private Ryan. Michael J. Pollard (the guy at the beginning) is another one of those actors whose had a long career. Played Jahn on the Star Trek episode: Miri, and also Barney's cousin on Andy Griffith Show.

You already know and love Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi but this film features B movie legend Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding who appeared in Spider Baby and Galaxy of Terror. It also stars Karen Black who rose to fame in Easy Rider but is fondly remembered by horror fans for Trilogy of Terror. Finally there's Bill Moseley who made a fan film called The Texas Chainsaw Manicure and so got cast in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2!

2023-08-04 21:52:29 +0000 UTCMy brother in law (who I wont mention) just cameoed in a recent Rob Zombie movie based on a 60's classic horror comedy that I wont mention and the movie was sooooo bad that despite said actor being my brother in law and once being a big rob zombie fan I couldn't make it through unsaid movie and now when I look at my BIL I just kinda shake my head and say, what happened?

And Chris Hardwick was so young that I didn't even recognize him at first, but the voice gave it away. And Baby, aka Sheri Moon Zombie, is Rob Zombies' wife. I think the sequel "The Devil's Rejects" was better. And I love the soundtrack. You know what they say? A family that kills together stays together.
