Thank you so much for reacting to this small Canadian film that has become a cult hit around the world. I was the Production Designer on the GS TRILOGY, so it's pretty awesome to see reactors discover this film for the first time. While we were shooting GS in 1999, we knew that with an awesome script by Karen Walton and thoroughly clear and concise direction by John Fawcett, we had a roadmap and guidance to creating a piece of narrative art and entertainment that has continued to resonated with people (and especially our fans) for 25 years now. And as a few others have mentioned, GS2 and GS3 are each different and unique: GS2 takes the story in an even darker direction, taking place roughly a year later; GS3 explores the origin of the "curse", in the early frontier years of Western Canada. BTW, the fact that you knew Ginger pulled a full CROSSCHECK on Trina during the field hockey game, indicates that you might be Canadian. Also, most other reactors (American) start those Gym Period scenes with, "What are they playing? What is that?" Plus, you gave a shout out during the credit sequence to the Casting Director, Robin D. Cook, CDC, knowing that she was Canadian!
