2024-06-03 18:44:16 +0000 UTCSo this was supposedly a true story, or more to the point, the book was based on the story that the real life Lutz family claimed happened to them in this house. The shootings a year before they moved in actually happened. Plenty of evidence suggests they were lying, while a few paranormal investigators claimed to have seen things there including the real life Ed and Lorraine Warren whom the Conjuring movies feature. No one that has lived there since the Lutzes has had any issues.
