There is another film called Queen of the Damned but it is based on the third book in the series. Aside from a good performance from the late Aaliyah, it doesn’t come close to this one. I highly recommend reading at least the first 3 books of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.

I only know Vampire Lore from few sources I follow never have I read a novel of them but in this Lore some Vampires pick up unique abilities once they are turned some are unlucky. Lestat knew turning a kid into a Vampire was against the rules but he did it so Luois can stay with him. The sequel is called Queen of the Damned, it’s alright but not close enough like this movie.
