2025-02-01 12:11:57 +0000 UTCIt was like equal parts John Carpenter, Ti West, Sam Ramie & Terry Gilliam. The theme reminded me a little of 'The Infinity Pool'. I was fully expecting Elisabeth to start draining Sue to get back to normal, but it didn't happen. Maybe she didn't realize that was what Sue was doing? I also thought Sue would have Elisabeth's consciousness, that she would just be Elisabeth in a new biological vessel, since they kept saying 'Remember you are one', but they didn't act like one. I'll have to watch it again. Also, how does a body split open right down the center of the back & something big come out without disturbing the spine & screwing up the ribcage & smushing the organs? She looked as empty as a sleeping bag! I'm pretty sure the substance was anti-freeze. I wonder what substance the writers were ingesting. 🤔 PLANET 🧟♂️ 🧟♀️ TERROR!!! Please & Thank you, Kat! 💖

There are some more recent horror/ suspense films that I think you might enjoy . Heretic and Strange Darling being two that come to mind .
