If you enjoyed Leprechaun, another I'd suggest is the 1997 dark fantasy horror movie Wishmaster. Its about a djinn, an evil genie who is released from a jewel and kills people by twisting wishes he grants people.

2025-03-12 08:21:33 +0000 UTCAlso, you're not wrong about there being a lot of ADR lines. Oddly enough, Leprechaun started out as a kid friendly horror film. However, the producers pointed out that it would work better as just a straight horror film, and thus additional scenes were shot to up the gore and horror. Including doing a lot of ADR work. After all that, a horror franchise was born and the rest is history.
