2025-03-24 23:25:50 +0000 UTCI can only speak for myself as someone who was raised Catholic and has since drifted into… whatever I am no, but one of the reasons I really love this particular Flanagan show is exactly what you mentioned that it could have been anything, and you’d still be able to find a scripture or Bible verse to justify it, the ambiguity of Bible stories and the passage of time give new meaning to old words. Kind of like how Hamlet and The Lion King are essentially the same story told through different lenses, or how Frankenstein can be read as a parallel to the story of creation and the fall of man. Religion has this same malleability, where you can project so many different meanings onto it. Also, we still have my favorite monologue coming up, delivered by Kate Siegel. Can’t wait for you to hear that one...
