Nov 3 : PATCH V5.15C! Bug fixed: When on 5 corruption with Dark Dee, the animation would randomly change to Sophie instead! This is fixed now.

Also: We added more cheat options! Spoiler: You can find them in the Windows/MAC README file at the bottom) One of these will also let you spawn Dark Dee whenever you want!
NEW THIS UPDATE:
- Completely new set of animations for Max! He is a lot cuter now!
- Chance for Dark Dee to spawn in each level! BEWARE!
- Corrupted Maxturbate can trigger!
- Rebalanced damage and struggle counts for a lot of enemies!
- New audio by ElectroDolly! Redo of audio for Fairy Nymph and Mirror Dee!
- Bugfixes and art updates (missing hoodie pockets, missing Lola in time-up screen etc.)
Level 6 is still far from done, but I think you will still like this update a lot! Play from the start and feel the new animations <3.

We have a channel on discord (#playtester comments) where you can post your thoughts and findings, You can also message me directly about big bugs but I mostly prefer to be contacted on the discord server.
Known bug(s):
- Sometimes Max's Slide attack does not come out right, we're looking into it.
- We haven't touched the gallery much yet, so some things need to be updated still in there!

This is a bit of an important announcement. As you know we struggle a lot with getting the mobile version properly working each new update. Everytime the game gets bigger, there seem to be more and more problems on mobile. So from now on I'm sorry but we will do the following:
We will stop releasing mobile updates until the game is fully completed and ready for one big proper effort to convert the game to mobile.

As compensation for mobile users: I made a set of quality videos that can be played and watched on your mobile device, without having to play the game.

It wasn't with Fae, although in the last scene Fae jumps in to help double team Max before corrupting them. Sorry if this has been answered, I loved that scene!

2025-11-03 17:37:31 +0000 UTCPATCHED: Fixed issue where Dark Dee's Gameover screen wasn't showing the right image! Also Fixed a compression issue with Dark Dee's Scene 1 animation! You can download the fix on the patreon page, it's called MtE V5.15b!

We probably won't keep her spawning in all the other levels though. I'll see if I can replicate the tentacle bug, maybe we can fix it.

2025-10-30 11:16:54 +0000 UTCAs someone who's been wishing for a hard mode, I'm loving the changes to the resist bar! I also love Shadow Dee so much! If you aren't planning on keeping her as a permanent enemy I hope she can be added as an optional challenge we can add. Maybe more characters with very difficult or impossible mechanics can be added as optional enemies in the future! Possible bug: in stage three the tentacle puddle was destroyed when I did a normal Q attack. Visibly the attack didn't seem to connect, but the puddle definitely disappeared because of that attack.
