Timelapse Videos of „Trapped“ and „Recovery“

I used a new coloring technique on both of these that feels more flat than my usual colorations. I received that effect by not blending in colors and by adding a border to almost every color in the foreground. That creates the illusion of additional lineart to some objects on the piece like grass and leaves. Especially on the „Trapped“ Illustration I was experimenting a lot in the beginning as you might notice. My first approach was to paint and blend in colors, but I decided against it a bit later to go for a flat approach instead. I was more confident about it in the “recovery“ piece that I finished just yesterday.
