This was a really cool video! I'm glad to here some discussion of Death Stranding in a more positive light, as I've mostly only heard negative criticism of it
2020-03-25 15:10:12 +0000 UTCI'm not telling what to do but I'm looking forward to your future videos on TTRPGs and Ludonarrative Dissonance. I've never played Death Stranding so I was unaware until now that the baby in the container is awake and active and I find that infinitely distressing as a human who is also a psychology student who has read about the experiments and studies done on babies who were deprived of physical contact to see how they would develop in longitudinal studies and that really drives home the theme of alienation that was discussed knowing that the most vulnerable is deprived of needed affection despite being cared for.

2020-03-25 01:35:10 +0000 UTCI'm like six minutes and thirty seconds into the video but with the talk about how your imagination is doing the work my ADHD brain kicked in and reminded me of the 1 to 5 apple visual meme that was going around and how some people just can't visualize an apple and makes me wonder if the complaint from people about ruined immersion comes from people whose imagination works without graphics. Also I'm not an anecdotal psychologist but I am a fledgling psychology major and I wanted to comment that what 12 rules for life you come up with I imagine won't be as divorced from humanity as Peterson's is. You're doing fine.
