Copyright testing & vimeo

Just letting you all know that the matrix video is nearly done now, but I've been testing the YouTube copyright system as the edit progresses to see what I can get away with. I don't mind not being able to monetise the video, that's pretty inevitable with doing movie analysis, but I've just had the first version to be fully blocked by YouTube, because I included the whole of Morpheus' speech to Zion from The Matrix Reloaded. As such I'll be uploading the finished version to vimeo so it can exist in a pure form there, which I consider to be the official uncompromised version of the video essay.
That will be the one I put up early for patrons, and then there will be another version edited to appease YouTube's copyright system. I don't know if it will matter too much to many of you, but I know at least some of you deliberately put off watching the early version because you enjoy the YouTube premiere, so I thought I'd let you know that the two versions will be different, and furthermore in my opinion the public version will be slightly inferior, and let you make an informed decision.
