Do you post a bibliography anywhere? I've a few times wanted to look up the prosthetic article you mention in this video (it's great!) and wound up just scrolling through the video until I could see it on screen and google the title. Might be a pain, but thought I'd ask!

I just got to the bit about cops defining the mental illness when arresting people. It came up because in Aurora Colorado, a Black man was given qualudes to calm him down by police because of this psychosis (that cops were totally experts at diagnosing) and he died. He had a heart attack and died. Also the illness is not in the DSM5 and has been almost exclusively diagnosed in.... Black men. Today is the two year anniversary of his death and it got a shoutout on npr.

I particularly enjoyed when you recommend other books and video games to act as a conduit towards other pieces of media which are more socially aware. This really helped organize the arguments against cyberbug with stories that have the fraction of the funding but twice the heart and respect for the genre and what it can do. Now that I've finished the video, yeah...agree with everything you said. Maybe I wouldn't have dragged them as hard but it isn't unjustified to do so. As I said in my earlier comment I really tried to like the game.

Sophie this video is my favorite you’ve done so far. It’s so sharp and incisive that I am currently fuming over being a patron just because now that I have seen this video I do not want to have to wait to send it to people. Congrats and well done.

I was really excited for this game because I really enjoyed the Witcher 3 but after completing one playthrough of it I gave up on my second pretty early. The world in this game is just so clichéd and lifeless. There are aspects I like, moments I find interesting but they are few and far between. For example I like the character of Johnny he's quite well done as a character apart from one glaring issue in that his ideology is never explored at all. That should be the most important aspect of him surely but it's almost completely ignored. I also felt mixed on queer representation, I like characters like Judy and Claire but the player is not really allowed to express their own queerness at all other than romancing or sleeping with npcs of the same sex. There are also several quests that either outright contain anti lgbt+ steriotypes or gave me that vibe. Also the way CDPR have treated their employees is just despicable. On the whole a massive disappointment and I'm willing to put up with a lot as I enjoy plot heavy rpgs and there aren't that many out there I haven't played.
