But you probably will put money into it. That is the point. Rather than pay 60$ for a good game, you pay 0$ now with an expectation that you will pay way more than 60$ in 2$ increments. Skins are more than 20$. If you like playing it but don't pay, we already see players losing continuously. They don't have the upgrades that paying players do. Or alternatively, you stop playing because really, how many times do you want to lose in a row? So you either quit and stop using resources and don't pay or become a paying customer. It is a good community for now but their practices are so bad that it is probably going to turn toxic, especially when they pay loads of money to only lose.

Ok now I am conflicted. For one I like that unlike league this game doesn't engender the same cringe toxicity I used to feel playing mobas like it, for another, this being the most predatory of them is a nob killer..... so long as I don't put money into it I guess and just enjoy the ride .3.

I heard about this on the Podquisition, where Laura Kate Dale talked about it, but seeing it visually brings it into sharper focus. The thought that families will be ruined because mommy's credit card is connected to the console with the cute, ostensibly child friendly monster game sends chills down my spine.
