Late 2023 production plans

Heya, just a quick update. I wanna talk about the projects I'm planning for the rest of the year and leading into early 2024.

Big Projects (Like Conspiracy on the Left, The World Is Not Ending)

1. I am still working on the next big essay, Apocalypse Preachers and I'd say my writing partner (Tyr) and I are making great progress on it. There isn't a deadline yet but early next year would be great if we could manage it. I'll make no promises so we can just let it take as long as it needs.

2. Similarly, I've had a project on the back burner for a long time called Eugenics: A History of Failing to get Smarter, and I won't put any expectations on when it'll be done, but it is the next big essay after AP.

3. The most immediate work on a big project however is on the Untitled Red Planet ZAD Documentary. Muel is editing it and we're all going to pitching in to shape the doc into its final product. For those of you unaware, in September Nat and I went to the ZAD to film a doc about it for Red Planet. You can read a bit more here

Mid sized Projects (Like Theranos, Monster Men)

1. Right now I'm working on a new Monster Men, but it's a surprise so I can't talk about it. I was hoping to have it finished by Halloween but due to personal social issues & poor mental health I've had to set it back a little. It'll be done in early November.

2. The next Monster Men after that I can talk about, because it isn't a surprise. It's about ghosts, but also aliens, but also conspiracy theories, and also church. I'm calling it I Want To Believe, and I think it'll be a good'n. Aiming to have it out at the start of December.

3. Ending the year with a banger I'm going to be putting out an essay about Alex Jones in late December. Merry Christmas I guess haha. It's going to be about Jones' career and role in politics but also in our informational world and the effect of people like him on how we know things.

Small Projects (shorter and probably more freeform. generally discussing something more topical but less complex)

1. We Bleed Black and Red is a video about how we can all engage in forms of antifascism, and of course, we must. I've been going round in circles on this script for too long because of how important the topic is, but I realised it's more urgent than it is important, and I should really just be getting it out, so I'm going to make it as concise as I can and get it out asap

2. The Foomscroller is a very strange short essay about liberal slop and the wonks and publications that peddle it. I'm aiming to get it out mid-November. If you watch the liberal slop streams then you already know what this is about, but i find it to be such a perfect summary of everything we're trying to do on the libslop streams that i really want to show it to my wider audience

3. i have an Untitled video about Degrowth featuring an interview with John the Duncan coming up, either in November or early December.

I know that over the last year I've put out videos much more rarely than before, and I really appreciate you all for supporting me still. I've been less productive because of extremely strenuous social, mental and financial strains and processing a lot of trauma. I am now finally in a better, safer, happier place and feel ready to get back up on the horse. Again, I know that money is tight for everyone right now and I am so grateful that despite the erratic release of content so many people continue to support my work and make it all possible, and I intend to demonstrate that unending gratitude by making some videos that go really fuckin hard. stay tuned
