Feminine beauty.

Femininity is a mystery I love to explore.
Slim is a very strong girl, full of tattoos and wearing knuckledusters, but besides all that, in this picture she is radiating sensuality like a greek statue.

Some days ago a model asked me to retouch the dark circles under her eyes, and that was the first time I ever did it!
I prefer the natural look even if the girls have some imperfections, my intention is not to create a god like figure, but just the true representation of a human figure, the genuine beauty is more powerful when it is not tampered with.

This picture of Slim is a good example of how a great body shot with a great lens can give a true tactile sensation to your pictures.
Do you really want to experience the World through an Instagram filter?

I do instruct the models on how tor wear knuckledusters, so also Martina had them on the right way round. I guess putting them on the wrong way is nearly impossible because it would stretch the fingers too much, particularly in a delicate female hand, as the holes are curved to follow the shape of the hand.

Beautiful image of Ms. Slim! I appreciate and share your ideas on a more "realistic" representation of people (especially women) in Photography....BUT, IF I ever manage to blunder my way into making my own photographs, I don't THINK I would have a problem retouching an image to eliminate what I consider "temporary" imperfections like acne or, in the case you mention, "shadows under her eyes. My shadows are permanent...there since childhood, but many people simply have them temporarily, maybe due to lack of sleep or momentary fatigue. Last, I wondered if Martina (in the great series on another of your websites) was wearing the "knuckledusters" the "wrong way -- the straight bar is inside, protecting the bones of the wearer's knuckles, as in Ms. Slim's usage. But then again, I could be wrong or there might be no difference besides a preference for the amount of damage either wearing can cause. Ugh to the mention of IG! LOLOLOLOL!!!!
