2025-05-16 00:10:00 +0000 UTCI LOVE Fearless, it was on repeat on my purple iPod Nano and hearing the (sorry, not really bc it’s true) original versions shoots me back to being age six after school, doing my homework or playing with Legos in my childhood bedroom. ESPECIALLY Tell Me Why😭 However I had the exact same experience and was also raised by The Fame/ would fall asleep to Just Dance at a low volume on my iPod dock alarm thing💀 that album gave me an escape in a different way than Fearless but still significant. I was a weird little kid so I can’t blame Zach for saying that LMAO TayGaga warrior for life😫

There is nothing else with that sort of time signature and vocal effects on any other song. The delivery along with this anxious time signature has such a chilling urgency and grief which are two things that are not typically held in one hand.

When I listen to evermore, I can visualise the stories so clearly and in detail like they are music videos. When I first heard tolerate it, I pictured this huge dining room in an 1800s stately home lit by candlelight with tall windows covered by blood red curtains—a long oak dining table in the centre of the room with two people at either end.
