Between light and shadow.

A few snaps of Fanny on a well hidden Milan terrace.
Dealing with the strong contrasts in these pictures has produced a faded effect that reminds about prints from the past, a look that emphasise the candid effect.
Most photographers would like to impose a particular style, tested, reliable and polished, but I prefer to keep searching for new ways to display beauty.
Because this is a research in photography, and experimenting is always the key element, more important than the final result.
Arguable, when you find your "style" you loose the will to try new things, so I'm trying to keep an open mind for the longest time possible.

Between light and shadow. Between light and shadow. Between light and shadow. Between light and shadow.

It is poetic, only fitting, if you will.

What you mentioned about experimenting and other styles... This is something I was going to compliment you on in a message but you already referenced it here: Some of my favorite photographers do have a particular style, "their style" that they stick to but the fact that you experiment and try new things / approaches is something that sets you apart from others, in my eyes.
