Added 2022-11-17 21:25:24 +0000 UTCI meant to announce this when the change went through, but it kind of slipped my mind. I've been super busy lately, what with the upcoming release of the first book in Death: Genesis and the new release of Mistrunner (as well as my day job).
Anyway, a month (or so) ago, Patreon gave us (as creators) the option of altering the billing cycle for our Patrons. The old way billed everyone at the same time (at the beginning of the month), which always seemed a bit unfair, as far as I was concerned. For anyone who signed up at the end of the month, they'd get two charges in quick succession. Clearly, Patreon recognized that this was an issue, because they gave us the option to switch over to the new way, which would see Patrons billed on the same date that they signed up each month. For instance, if someone were to sign up today, the billing cycle wouldn't repeat until the 17th of next month.
To me, the choice was simple because the second option was obviously the fairer of the two. So, I didn't hesitate to switch it over. I can't see how this would negatively affect anyone, but let me know if there are any unforseen consequences and I'll try to address them.
