SAFETY FOR SESSIONS

So now that you’ve booked an in person session, I’m pretty sure your next concern is how to stay safe. Here are some steps you can take:

• Decide your booking location

NEVER GO TO A CLIENTS HOUSE. THIS IS UNSAFE AND CAN PUT YOU IN DANGER.

Dungeon vs hotel

Your best bet for ultimate safety is to book a dungeon in your city, as most dungeons provide security, employees, and an overall safe environment for your session. Be sure to include the dungeon fee in your overall booking fee when a sub approaches you for a session.

If your city doesn’t have a dungeon, the next best thing would be to book a hotel. Try to have the booking in your name and always arrive before the client. This gives you the time and opportunity to scope out your surroundings, notice exit points, and set the room up how you want. Allowing a client to get there before you gives them access to manipulating the room.

Bringing security with you to hotel sessions is key. Security can be a family member, close friend, significant other, or whoever else you’re comfortable with knowing your lifestyle. Having them stand outside the room or having them in the lobby is ideal. Be sure to let the client know that you will have security. If they aren’t fond of this, it’s a RED flag.

If you don’t have security within close friends and family, you can always reach out to security companies to provide you with this. Yes it’s pricier, but it secures your safety.

Use the location services option on your phone to send your location to someone you trust. Let them know that you’re going to a session and to stay alert for the duration of it.

Comments

Thank you so much for this information! Are there any SW-friendly security people/companies in NYC you recommend for this?

Muse

Are the Subs sending me the cash to pay for the room too or should I buy it myself? Also what about a motel?

Vat Mis

If there’s a red flag, that’s enough to completely abort mission.

Mistress Marley

You can search by google or by asking around on fetlife or people within the kink community

Mistress Marley

How does one handle situations that have a lot of red flags with them? Or just any red flags that make you uncomfortable?

Maia G

How do you look for BDSM dungeons ???

Alexus

I would love to know the name as well when you find out

Ms Giggles

There's a black-owned Dungeon you've mentioned before in NYC, can't remember the name

Goddess J

Dungeons don’t do background checks, they provide the space and security. The background check is your due diligence

Mistress Marley

For dungeons, how does background check work? Are dungeons involved in that process?
