How To Be The “Perfect” Sub
Added 2020-04-21 14:33:34 +0000 UTCIf you are serving a Domme, Dom, Top, Master, Mistress, etc the first thing you should know is that their wish is your command (consensually). A lot of subs have an interest in serving, but can sometimes go about it the wrong way. As a sub, you MUST check your ego at the door and realize your place. Whether you are lifestyle, paying for sessions, or a domesticated servant, here are some pointers to follow.
- Always check in with your Top. Never assume that they don’t want to hear from you unless stated otherwise. A check in can simply be a “Hi, how are you doing today?”
- Follow all rules given and agreed upon at ALL times. Do not try to piss your Top off on purpose just for your own selfish gain of receiving a punishment. You never know what your top is dealing with that day and they most likely don’t need any bullshit on top of it.
- If tributes are established, they should be sent on time with minimal excuses. Do not agree to an amount that you know you can’t keep up with.
- DON’T BE A TIMEWASTER! This is the BIGGEST one. Tops already have to deal with loads of messages in their inboxes with subs wanting to serve. Set yourself apart from the rest; be of use.
- Do not pry into personal business. In a D/s relationship, remember that there is a line between fantasy and reality. Unless you’ve established an extremely close relationship with your Top, stay away from personal questions.
- Always communicate your soft and hard limits as they change. If there’s something in session you thought you would like but you’re no longer into it, make it known. Yes, Tops can read body language, but being verbally told is better.
- Last but not least, don’t scout for other Tops if you’re already OWNED. This is just disrespectful and makes you look like a time waster. Let your Top know if you’d like to move on.
