Just like any other job, SW is work. And just like any other job, you should learn to save your earnings. In this field of work, there is no guaranteed paycheck or a set hourly rate per hour. You could meet your money goals in less than 5 hours or have a slow week. SW can be seen as fast money, but you should save it even faster.

1. Set monthly goals

As you can set your content creation goals, you can also set goals for how much money you’d like to make for the month. If you are a beginner, start small and work your way up. That way if you exceed your goal, it’ll be considered a HUGE win. Try $500 a week or $100 a day,

2. Save your tributes

No matter if you receive a $5 tribute or a $1000 tribute, save at least half of it. This way, every thing you earn is being built up in some way. It can be tempting to spend the tribute right away, especially if it’s going to a cash app or pay card. Have a little self control here. For sugar babies, this can mean saving your allowances.

3. Try not to spend money on “extracurricular items”

This can be outfits, dildos, sex toys, etc. If you are a Domme, have subs purchase these items for you. If you are in other forms of SW, put these items on an Amazon wishlist. This is especially for clients that are expecting certain content from you; make them pay.

4. Always add tax

No matter what kind of content you’re creating, tax it. This includes extra conversation, video chatting etc. Never adjust your prices for “long time clients “. Your time is still valuable. For example, “Johnny” thinks that he deserves to blow up your phone all night because he purchases a lot of your content. Wrong, Johnny.

5. Keep track of your earnings in Excel or budgeting apps

This can keep you updated on what your monthly earnings are looking like and can keep you on track.
