A Domme Persona or personality are characteristics that you take on within your Pro-Domme branding. These characteristics can be similar to your day to day personality in your vanilla (non-SW) life or it can be completely different.
Here are some examples of a few common Domme Personas:
Sensual - you’re into tapping into every aspect of your femininity to provide a soft, sensual experience. You might be less ‘stern’ or not that into sadistic themes, such as humiliation and physical aggression.
Sadistic - you fully enjoy inserting your dominance in ways that cause consensual pain or humiliation. Yelling, slapping, and torturing your submissives is something that appeals to you and makes you feel powerful.
Nurturing/’Mommy Domme’ - you enjoy rewarding your submissives and encouraging them in your dominance. You consistently let them know how good of a job they are doing with serving you and you may not be as harsh in punishments.
Bratty - it’s your way or the highway - you enjoy being bossy and taking no shit or talking back from your submissives. If they don’t let you have your way right away, a tantrum is definitely on the way.
Some submissives will request a specific persona when booking a session. It is up to you if you want to adapt this persona for your client/sub, but you should never feel like you’re forced to behave in a manner just to satisfy the sub.
There are many Domme Personas to explore. There isn’t one way to behave as a Dominatrix. A common misconception is that all Dommes are aggressive and sadistic. This is far from the truth; we all have unique personalities that help us stand out and stay booked!
