3 WAYS TO SECURE TRIBUTES + FUNDS!
Added 2023-07-18 00:14:43 +0000 UTCThe process of securing tributes and funds can be a challenge in the beginning of your career, especially when you are first starting out and building your brand. Subs like to send to Dommes that they are either physically, mentally, or emotionally attracted to - in other words, they have to feel enticed to send.
As Dommes, we never beg or go out of our way to ask for tribute. Trust me, if you feel you are going back and forth for a long time with a sub about a tribute, you're already doing this wrong.
There are ways to put your foot down professionally without having to run into frustrating conversations or feel like you're conversing too long with time wasters.
1. MAKE IT VISIBLE AND KNOWN
This is the easiest way. Having your tribute amount in your bio along with your payment tags takes out the middle conversation of subs becoming confused on where exactly to send to you. If you have a 'block fee', make this known as well. If a sub comes into your inbox still playing clueless, a simple 'Read my bio' is an easy reply and redirection. If they continue to push conversation without sending, simply ignore them.
2. LET SUBS KNOW THAT TRIBUTES CAN OPEN DOORS TO MORE INFORMATION ON HOW TO CONTINUE TO ENGAGE WITH YOU
Typically, tributes are fees paid to be in your presence/be acknowledged. They do not always have to include conversation, but if you want to pitch your session rates, custom rates, etc, this is the perfect time to do so. This increases your chances of securing more funds.
Example:
(Sub sends tribute and writes you "Hi Goddess..." "I sent tribute..." etc)
You: "Your tribute is noted. If you want to continue to engage, I offer virtual sessions, custom video rates, and more depending on the kinks you are interested in. My time is to be respected. My clips can be found at the link in my bio as I know you want to see more of me."
3. CHECK IN WITH PAST SUBS/CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS
You should be retaining clients more than you are forgetting about them (unless they have made you uncomfortable or the two of you have discussed parting ways mutually because of differences). This means that you should be following up with those that have served you in the past to see how they still can be of use to you. This includes mass messaging on subscription platforms, email marketing to clients who have booked virtual or in person sessions in the past, and any subs that have served you to your liking.
You can also do this in a 'call to action' way. For example, say if a sub has sent you funds on Cash App in the past for lunch, dinner, pampering, etc - keep that energy going by sending requests for the same task they completed in the past. This will let them see that you remember them and that you still have continued expectations.
Dominance doesn't always mean sitting idly by while you wait for something to happen - it also means asserting yourself in the appropriate matter.
