VETTING PROTOCOL: REFRESHER

Whether you are engaging with subs virtually or in person, you should ALWAYS take steps to protect yourself and ensure that the client is safe for you and trustworthy. YOU SHOULD NEVER MEET WITH ANYONE IN PERSON WHO YOU HAVE NOT SCREENED FOR ID, REFERENCES, AND BACKGROUND CHECKS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Your safety is not worth any amount of money.

IN PERSON:

1. The vetting step should come BEFORE a date, time, and place is set up for any session. This is to prevent your time from being wasted.

2. Request ID - if they want to cover up their home address, this is fine - but name, age, and face should be visible.

3. Background check - you can ask for their LinkedIn or run their name through background checkers like Mr Number. Do your due diligence in researching background check systems on the internet. Some may have a fee.

4. References - IMPORTANT. References can help you gauge how the sub has been in past sessions with other Dommes. Make sure the reference can actually be checked as sometimes subs will lie to try to get by.

5. Video interview - this step is not necessary, but adds an extra layer of protection to get to know who you're talking to. You can charge a tribute for this meeting and it can be done through Skype.

6. In Person Interview - this can be done at a public restaurant or public place, but should only be done once a level of comfort has been reached

Please note that a sub can turn down submitting these things to you, in which you move on and don't have to see them. Use your discernment.

VIRTUAL:

With virtual, a few steps can be skipped as you won't be meeting them in person. You can still ask for references and ID to ensure the sub is of age and can conduct the Skype interview.
