STEP ONE: DOMME/BRAND NAME

STEP FIVE: CONSISTENT MARKETING

Look at everything like running a business because this IS a business. You should always be advertising your content, your work, what you offer - make yourself visible in this space. You can not be lazy when you are just starting out. Every single day counts. Turn to auto tweet schedulers for help on making marketing easier.

STEP SIX: NETWORKING + EXPANDING

If you're interested in eventually doing in person, move from behind the computer screen and attend in person events, conventions, parties, etc. You can also access these through FetLife or ask around the community on Twitter.
