Today's post will be a mix of information + advice.
WISHTENDER + STRIPE:
For those not up to date, in the past week, SWers were notified that Wishtender was dropped by Stripe, a popular payment processor that was being used to process gifts and tributes. Stripe has a very strict policy against adult content on their platform and it was only a matter of time before this happened. Although Wishtender has informed everyone that they are working on getting another processor, payouts are paused at this time.
As someone who runs multiple businesses through Stripe, it is advised that you completely change your Stripe email from your Wishtender email or completely pull out of Wishtender all together until they solve this issue. If you run any businesses through Stripe, please do this step immediately to avoid having your business financial account deleted.
The best way to continue to receive tributes from subs is through your clips and subscription sites, Cash App, Venmo, or other methods that have worked for you thus far. I will keep you all updated on any Wishtender updates.
