NEWBIE IN FINDOM? STEER CLEAR OF THESE MISTAKES:
Added 2024-08-05 14:17:33 +0000 UTCWith years of experience and observation in this industry, I see loads of Findom related pages across all of my social media. As Findom picks up in popularity, veterans of the industry are always able to point out who's going to have a long standing career in Financial Domination vs those who are looking for a quick buck because a Findomme on Tik Tok told them this was "easy money".
This is not easy money.
It can, however, be consistent and frequent money if you approach it correctly and have strategies that you stick to. Here are some common mistakes I see across the board that you should steer clear of:
1. Free verification videos
This is old school and no longer acceptable. You're only giving the subs free attention and content when you do this. ALL VERIFICATION should be done through an adult site for age verification. Go ahead now and remove that pinned verified video from your Twitter if you still have it up.
2. Sending content/doing sessions without deposit
This should be common sense, but sometimes when we see dollar signs, we may lose our sense of common sense. AT LEAST a half deposit should be required before sending any requested content or participating in sessions.
3. Robotic posts
"Send me money beta" , "Your wallet belongs to me"....BORINNNNNG. There are tons of new Findommes trying to break into the industry with this same mindset. SET YOURSELF APART. Tweet about your niche, your hobbies, your interests - be interesting.
4. No content or limited content on your paywall sites
You tell subs to go to your pay sites for your content, yet there's no content or the last time you posted was over 6 months ago. Never false advertise. If you want long term success in this industry, you have to put in the work for it.
5. Low quality content
6. Engaging in community drama
Self explanatory.
7. Consistently complaining on your timeline
If you are getting subs that are wasting your time, don't tweet about it on your timeline. This only will attract more trolls and is unattractive overall when it comes to the brand of your business.
8. Over saturating your page with other creators
It's okay to be in engagement groups, but not to the point where you page is flooded with the content of others and subs are already clicking off to go to someone else's page. Try to make sure your content is still consistent.
9. Laziness
10. No knowledge of BDSM, Kink, or Fetish
Findom can cross over into many different categories of BDSM. You don't want to be approached by a sub and have no knowledge of the kinks and fetishes they are into. There are lessons here on the Patreon that go over different kinks and fetishes, along with A-Z definitions searchable on Google.
