I'm starting to realize that the most important part of any journey towards a goal, is the ability to get back up again when you fail. I backslid pretty bad this last month on my goal to be consistent. But instead of reacting emotionally like I usually do, mentally beating myself up, I've decided to only look at it logically. What went wrong? What can I do to prevent it next time? Specifically, I started to let little things through; Oh today, I'm only going to work half as much. Or, well I guess I can waste a little bit of time because I've been doing well lately. But these little capitulations added up, and I found myself right where I was a few months ago; lost, binging, addicted, depressed. The most important part is getting back up, as quickly as I can. Because failure is inevitable, but failure is what makes us human, and failure makes us stronger :)

In more art related news, I've been working on my vagina anatomy, I think it's getting a lot better. I was thinking about how I used to just draw a single line and call it a day. The highlighting is a very interesting technique I've also been working on. I've been studying the way wet skin kind of sparkles because of all the little bumps, and so I've been trying to apply that in my work. This recent close up might be one of my favorite animations I've ever done. The facial reactions, the slow, methodical movement. It's very nice, definitely planning on adding more to it. I added sound for fun, needs work. Anyways, hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it. See ya soon :)
