Our next video is good to go, but...

Hey everyone!

Just a quick update about our next documentary. It's pretty much ready to publish and we've been mulling over the idea of doing so this week, but in the end, we've decided against it.

This one's a big investigative piece and we're just not sure that the December holidays are necessarily the right moment to put it out into the world. The vibes don't feel quite right.

It's also a topic we're really hoping will draw some interest from the rest of the games media too and given most of the people we'd like to see write about this work (and share it with their audiences) are currently winding down for their Christmas breaks, it just feels like we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot if we don't wait until early January instead.

This story and the people involved deserve everybody's full attention and it's just that bit too late into December to be able to guarantee that.

So yeah, we'll see you in January! I'm guessing we'll go live on the 7th? Something like that.

If you were convinced to support PMG because we've told a story that felt really important to you in the past and one that was totally under-reported before then, we think this next documentary is another good example of that.

Thanks so much for being a patron this year! We hope you and your close ones have a fantastic end to 2024, but if not... it's been a weird year, don't sweat it. We'll all try again in 2025.

Lots of love,

Team PMG

Makes absolute sense in my book hope you all at PMG have a Merry Christmas and an absolutely belter of a New Year.

Such a tease! Enjoy the holiday in the meantime

Makes sense, love the transparency

I agree with the other posters. I trust your judgement when you say that a small delay will have a greater impact. Start the new year strong!

Bart Holthuijsen

Sounds like the best way to go. Hopefully gives you guys an early Christmas break too, you definitely earned it!

Adnan Mirza

Timing the story to have the biggest impact is absolutely the best reason I can think of, excellent idea! Have a good New year and likely a well earned break!

Carl

Looking forward to it, have a great christmas PMG team!

Alex Timpo

Very reasonable, have a good holiday break 😄

Jochem Kuijpers

Sounds very sensible. Don’t shoot yourself in the foot - let’s face it, you’ve had enough leg injuries for one year!

Brett Rolfe

Timing can be critical and unless the story is Christmas themed it's probably for the best to wait until january.

Julian

Sounds good to me, I hope it really makes an impact in the new year!

Charlotte KL

We'll be there whenever you post, looking forward to seeing more of the PMG teams excellent work

Mark Bond

Makes sense, would rather the story reach the maximum audience! Have a great holiday period folks.
