Hey, it's Sifa :D
So, at first, we are very close to the release of Godot version of Shuffle Me :D
We are going to release an early version at the end of this week or on the next week.
Posting Videos
It's great that we have finally found a way to post videos here :D You see, patreon doesn't allow uploading videos for NSFW channels, even for paid members. Though it still allows embeding videos. However, finding a webside that allows hosting NSFW content wasn't simple. So after trying different stuff, we finally found it :D
So now I would probably post more videos. Also, instead of gifs I would also upload videos. Yeah, quality isn't great, but it's still better than gif xD Though I'm still going to show some gifs for free members. Because I can show video only for paid members. Because it's NSFW.

(so this gif is a small part of the video, hope the post won't get banned)
Characters
We made several NPCs (card battles) and several choice events.
Each NPC has a bunch of cards, each card has unique animation and effect. They can use some of these cards from the very beginning of the game. While some skills are going to be unlocked only after NPC progresses to higher stages.
NPC progression for now is very simple. Just after every encounter NPC will progress by 1 stage and get 2 new cards. And that's all. No boost to HP or to damage. Just new cards. The goal is to keep the enemies on the same level of power, but give them more complex cards, so it's harder for player to get used to it.
However, in todays video I set up the robot to the max progression stage just from the beginning, to show you the transformation faster xD
Losing Battles
The thing we changed from the JS version is the way you can lose the card battle. Before, it was almost impossible to lose, only if you get fully transformed. Now you can lose easier. I just realized that we already have these mechanics, just we don't use them in the right way. Let me explain.
You remember Stress and Arousal? 2 main stats that you use during the Battle phase. Some cards improve stress, some Arousal, some cards help reducing the stats, and so on. Though the part that we should think about is what happens when you have maxed out stress/arousal. In this case you get a special card "release" or "faint". After using them you get something and keep going.
Why keep going?? That's the question I asked myself. So I think these cards is a great way to lose the battle. So now, if you use any of these cards - you lose the battle and receive some penalties. You can be transformed, your clothes can be changed, your cards can be changed, and stuff like that.
Clothing Cards
Another new feature - clothing become part of the Battle phase. So, each clothing piece have its own stats, like power, stress/arousal, and sure a special effect. With stats I think it's obvious, so let's talk about the effect.
The first and most important thing is that all the clothes has 1 use only. Why? Because you basically undress when you use a clothing card xD So if you use your shoes - you remove shoes, from your character and from your deck. Moreover, we have a simple "naked" system. So, NPC can't use certain cards until the required body part isn't exposed. Instead NPC gets a card that will help them to expose the target :D
So why do I even use clothes then? Well, if you just keep them on - your enemy can still remove them with far worse effects. While removing them on your own might help you get some powerful bonuses.
However, some clothing effects would be applied every time you use another card, or every time you draw them from your deck. In addition to that, not all the clothes would give only positive stuff. Let's say, some kind of miniskirt might raise your Stress when you draw it. It's like "Omg, I'm wearing a skirt" situation xD And then you have to decide "do I remove it, or do I keep it on?" xDD
Though I'm not sure how much of what I planned we are going to add for the first release. Most likely we release just a basic early version and then will improve it step by step. Instead of postponing the release more...
For example, we haven't added underwear yet. Yeah, we prepared stuff for that. Just it's too much work for one go, so underwear would probably be the first thing we added After the release.
Animation
So, every card, no matter it's NPC's card or player's card, has an animation connected to that. Sometimes it's something simple, sometimes it's a complex synchronized animation. All of that really adds some spice to the game. Even I got hooked up when testing, what is a rare situation, because you already know everything about your own game... Though still, it's so much joy.
The best thing is that I put so much effort in preparing the characters that now doing animations themselves is quite simple. It takes me less than an hour to make a simple animation, and several hours to make a complex synchronized animation with 2 characters acting together. You won't believe, but it's waaaay faster than doing artworks. Especially artworks with characters.
And all of that including clothes, cosmetics, hairstyles, body proportions. Omg, finally there is a game that allows that. It's been my dream for so long :D
Events
Few words about the events. You can see in the video, that after the Battle phase you have to select a card. Actually, it's a post battle event, and there will be more in the future. It's like a "loot" from the NPC. Some NPCs will give you clothes, others - cards, or cosmetics. Later we might add even more options for post-battle events.
Then, you can see a pilates mat. We call such events "choice-event". So basically, you can choose between 2 options. Often it will be about lowering stress/arousal. But it's not limited by these options only. The main idea of such events is to trade some thing/stat with another thing/stat. For example, you might revert feminization a little, but raise your stress instead. What would make your next Battle Phase harder to win. Or like I showed in the video, you can reduce your arousal, but get feminized more. And so on.
And again, all the choices are animated :D
So, I think that's enough for today. Again, release this week or the next. And the first version might be a bit wanky. I mean, I don't think it will be bad. Just it's the first release on Godot engine, and some planned stuff isn't implemented yet. So be patient.
Release will be only for Patrons. All tiers. Sure it will be stolen pretty fast, though I don't care about that anymore :D
Higher tiers would get some special stuff, like Cheat room or so. Also, I would release small and undstable builds early for higher tiers. I think it's fair.
See ya soon :D
