Next Cdrama poll

Obviousely, most of modern cdrama fans aren't the ones who really into cdrama land they just watch cute romance dramas comes into they titok fyp lol, and feel like lenny's patreon audience has more passersbys & kdrama/kpop fans who watch modern cdramas for fun that keep manipulating what real cdrama fans prefer.

1st, you can't really say that, like for me, I literally renew just to vote in polls because I really wanted to watch good C-drama reactions. So yes, I'm disappointed. 2nd, there are not many C-drama reactors, so when someone reacts to a C-drama, real C-drama fans are excited for reactors to watch ones that show the unique beauty of C-dramas. 3rd, most modern cdrama fans aren't even real cdrama followers, so why ruin others enjoyment by voting for modern dramas? Just go watch modern Kdrama; they are so much more versatile after all. Lastly, don't get me wrong; I love good modern C-dramas, and I can totally get people enjoying them, but keeping up with these modern C-drama reactions is so unnecessary because they don't even represent 1% of good dramas in C-drama land.

If you watch modern drama, then don't include them in the next poll. Not to be that person but real C-drama fans love historical dramas for a reason; your' Patreon has more kdrama/kpop fans too, and passersby & ones who new to the cdrama land mostly watch modern C-dramas & call it a day. So it's so unfair for historical cdramas that bring the unique & authentic beauty of Chinese drama land.

I do watch modern drama. But I prefer c costume drama to the normal ones. It’s just my preference. Also, I am not talking about specific genre. Modern or costume both can be of different genres. So nothing against anything. We need to explore different things so that we don’t miss any good ones.

I voted for Love Between Fairy and Devil first (one of my favorite costume drama in 2023), then changed my vote to the second higher, just hoping we can get a different result than WIFTY...Falling into Your Smile is another modern love comedy-drama, but at least it's more of the Gaming Genre, which is pretty refreshing, and I LOVE the gaming aspects * excellent CGI in the show. BTW, the double's amazing!!

I don’t know why no one is voting for the costume dramas. My vote went to the love between fairy and devil. But at least if you guys vote for the other historical dramas I would accept. I am still surprised to not see the double in the list. It was my top drama for 2024. It actually made me check out c dramas more religiously. The beauty of c drama for me lies in the costume dramas. For the normal dramas, I am not saying they aren’t good but I like normal k or j or maybe Thai dramas more than modern c dramas. That’s just my preference. I like a few modern c drama though. My point is I wish I can watch along to a drama that I like one day.

You’re making odd points. It’s not about discrediting the winning show. WIFTY is a great show, but we literally just watched the same theme. It’s getting to a point bcuz this is also happening in so many other reaction channels. Why is rotation such a foreign thing.. can we not watch something else? That’s why nobody is voting that drama, but the theme of WOH is totally different despite the bromance of both shows. WIFTY and HL are literally on the same spectrum. We want to rotate these types of shows is the point. Don't get me wrong, I love that drama too, but they're literally just abt to finish Hidden Love, which has similar vibes. Can we get some variety, please? Not the same types of dramas. And I know that for some people like me who've been subbed to their channel now for years, how long it took before we even got to see them reacting to cdramas and how long we've been waiting for them to react to a historical drama. Can we please do a historical drama? I know we love the cutesy romance stuff but let's have rotation for every type of drama. When I fly toward you is too similar to Hidden love! Let's give them real action. Lenny, since ppl are so divided on this, I suggest you guys watch the teaser trailer for each of the above dramas and then the 5 of you vote. Or which I highly doubt could happen, but you react to 2 dramas at the same. I mean, you offer two eps of the drama per week so instead you can do two different dramas once a week to those slots, that way everyone gets a bit of what they want. How's that? 🥲😂😂 let me just laugh because this is really the Olympics. In any case, let's just wait and see.

Personally, I’m not sick of them. But I’m tired of dramas I’ve seen not ever being a candidate to win. The only two I know here are word of honor and falling into your smile, both of which I love. I especially love falling into your smile because one of my fave actors is Xu Kai and he’s a main character. But this is why I sometimes don’t vote at all because there’s no point if I can predict the outcome and it’s not favorable for me. I’m glad they provide other content aside from drama reactions because otherwise, it would all be dramas I haven’t seen or don’t wanna watch which in turn would be a waste of my time and money (sry that sounds harsh, but it’s the truth for me. Especially since I don’t work so I use my credit card that’s connected to my parents account so I’m basically paying for these channels with their money. My mom knows I do this so she’s asked me to cut down on subscriptions before. Because it’s their money, I do exactly that, so if I think a channel is not worth my time or their money, I’m obviously gonna unsubscribe or not subscribe in the first place until I get more of my own money)

Me neither, I never accused u of insulting anyone. Just wanted to point out that it is logical that people are biased to what they like. Preference does matter, since that's the reason people are saddend by the romance genre. Some people like a diverse genre of things while some only watch romance. And it seems like a vast majority of the people voting fall in the latter category. I personally have no preference. If it's a genre I don't care for, I won't watch. I do get the frustration though of all the rest that want them to switch it up.

I am not comparing these two, and there is no need for the comparison; I am just saying those two have very similar genres. It gets a bit boring watching a very similar one right after another.
