Laughed my ass off 😂 Running Man is so funny, especially older episodes! I used to watch a lot of Korean TV shows like Running Man, I really liked them in the era of the mid 2000s to the late 2010s but nowadays I don't watch any, I just don't find them fun anymore.

I’m glad you guys are enjoying this! Running Man is what got me interested in Korean culture and K-pop. The members are really close to each other, like a family. The girls (Lee Hyori and Jung Eum) were actually just guests at first. Then, starting from episode 3, they announced a new permanent member, an actress named Song Ji Hyo. Song Joong Ki left Running Man not long after, I think his last appearance was in episode 41. Since then, the show continued with 7 members: Jaesuk, Sukjin, Jongkook, Haha, Gary, Jihyo, and Kwangsoo. Sadly, Gary left after 7 years. It was the saddest episode because, compared to Joong Ki, Gary had stayed with them the longest. In 2017, the PD announced two new members, Sechan and Soomin. They blended in well, but some OT7 fans didn’t like them because they wanted Gary back. After some time, when we thought we were okay, Kwangsoo left in 2021. That was the most shocking news because we thought that if Running Man ever stopped in the future, Kwangsoo would be the last to leave. It was also the saddest departure after Gary’s because he had stayed with them for 12 years. The latest departure was Soomin in 2023. Now, there are only Jaesuk, Sukjin, Jongkook, Haha, Jihyo, and Sechan running the show. I heard there’s a new member recently, but it’s been a while since I followed the show, so I’m not really sure. To be honest, I started watching the show less frequently after Kwangsoo left. Sorry for the long comment. just wanted to share the history of Running Man. It was a very well-known variety show across all of Asia back then, and its popularity was as big as K-pop idols’. However, the format of the show has changed, so it’s less popular now. Can't wait for other episodes!
